Accepted & Restricted Pets

For safety and health reasons, we only accept pets listed in our Accepted Animal Types, and all pets must meet our Animal Health Conditions.

❌Animals We Do Not Accept

For safety, legal, and handling reasons, we do not service:

  • Large & giant dog breeds

  • Guard or high-protection dog breeds

  • Aggressive or unpredictable temperament dogs

  • Venomous reptiles (snakes, spiders, scorpions)

  • Farm animals (goats, sheep, cows, pigs, chickens, etc.)

  • Horses or large livestock

  • Highly specialised saltwater reef aquariums

  • Wildlife or rescued wild animals without permit

To keep both pets and staff safe:

  • Accepted

  • Small to *Medium Dogs: after behaviour and temperament assessment

  • Not accepted

  • Large & Giant Breeds: Not accepted at this time

  • Guard / High-Protection Breeds (e.g., Rottweiler, Doberman, Cane Corso, Pit Bull Types)


​​*For any medium-sized dogs, we require:

  • 3 x 30-minute walking sessions prior to your first home visit

  • This helps us build trust, understand your dog’s behaviour, and ensure compatibility between your dog and our team.

✅Animals We Accept

We welcome pets that are:

  • Healthy and Vaccinated – Pets must be up-to-date on core vaccinations (dogs: C5 or equivalent; cats: F3 or equivalent).

  • Free from Contagious Illnesses – Pets must not show symptoms of illness such as coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, or skin infections.

  • Parasite-Free – All pets must be protected against fleas, ticks, and worms.

  • Social and Manageable – Pets should be friendly or safely manageable around our carers. Reactive pets may still be accepted with prior disclosure and behavior notes.

  • Desexed (for Group Care) – Dogs or cats joining group play or social activities must be desexed after 6 months of age.

  • Identified and Microchipped – All pets must have ID tags or microchips for safety.

  • Non-Aggressive and Non-Dangerous – We cannot accept pets with a history of biting, attacking, or aggressive behavior toward humans or other animals.

  • Able to Eat and Move Normally – Pets should be able to eat, drink, and move without assistance unless special care arrangements have been made in advance.

  • Medication and Special Needs (if declared) – Pets on medication or with special needs are accepted with clear written instructions and owner consent.

❌Animals We Do Not Accept

For the safety and comfort of all pets and staff, we cannot accept:

  • Pets showing signs of contagious disease (e.g., kennel cough, ringworm, parvovirus, cat flu).

  • Pets with untreated flea, tick, or worm infestations.

  • Unvaccinated or incomplete vaccination status (unless exempt with veterinary documentation).

  • Aggressive or dangerous pets with a history of biting or attacks.

  • Pets that are pregnant or in heat (oestrus).

  • Pets with severe mobility issues that require full physical support (unless prior arrangements are made).

  • Pets requiring specialized medical care (e.g., post-surgery recovery, IV medication) without veterinary supervision.

  • Pets under 10 weeks old or not yet fully weaned.
